Gas Causes 2nd Fatality
Mrs. Ralph H. Miller of Algona, 66, formerly of Estherville, died early today at St. Ann Hospital, Algona. Her death occurred four days after that of her husband.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Miller were taken to the hospital Nov. 22, when they were found unconscious in their home as a result of exposure to carbon monoxide fumes. Mr. Miller died Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Miller, the former Hazel Thompson, was born Nov. 12, 1898, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Thompson. She received her education in the Estherville schools.

She was married Sept. 20, 1921, to Ralph G. Miller in Estherville.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Congregational Church, Algona, from which funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Estherville at 11:30 a.m.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Algona Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by one brother, John Thompson of Tallahassee, Fla., and four nieces, Mrs. Perry White of Philadelphia; Mrs. Ed Reichmann of Omaha; Mrs. Kelly Houts of Sioux City; and Mrs. David E. Eifrig of Beaufort, S.C.

Mrs. Miller was predeceased by her husband, her parents, a brother, George Thompson of Estherville; and two sisters, Thelma and Mrs. Buena Merron. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 2, 1965)
