Six years ago he went to Chicago and two years ago he went to Monett, Missouri, where he was engaged in the insurance business. A wife and three brothers, Earl and Charles of Chicago, and M. B. The remains of Fred Miller were brought from Monett, Mo., Monday and buried at Oak Hill cemetery in the afternoon. A short service was held at the grave, Rev. Mitchell having charge. The Enterprise gave an account of the death of Mr. Miller a few weeks ago. Chas. Miller accompanied the remains of his brother here. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, May 31, 1911)

The body of Fred Miller was taken up in the cemetery at Montrose, Missouri, and brought here for burial in the family lot in Oak Hill cemetery Monday. Brief ceremonies were held over the remains at the grave. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, May 31, 1911)

Note: the Estherville Democrat is missing half the column; however, the maiden name of his wife was Morgan.
