Mabel Lorenz Funeral Set for Friday
Services for Mrs. Mabel Lorenz, Estherville, who died Oct. 3, 1972, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Fuhrman Funeral Home.

The Rev. H. Allen Wirtz will officiate at the funeral and interment will be made at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lorenz, 86, died of complications of advanced age at Good Samaritan Center, where she had been a resident for 1 ½ years.

She was born May 4, 1886, at Atlantic, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Miller. At the age of six she came with her parents to Armstrong where they made their home. In Dec. 31, 1913, she was married to Herman Lorenz in Omaha.

Following their marriage, they made their home in Estherville. Her husband was a barber here for more than 50 years, retiring in 1953. He died in 1968. They had no children.

Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Elsie Smith of Sioux City, and a nephew, Robert R. Smith of Omaha.
