Mrs. G. Heyman Funeral Set for Monday
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Fuhrman Funeral Home for Mrs. George W. (Alvina M.) Heyman, 86, Estherville, who died Thursday [August 13, 1970] at 10:15 a.m. at Holy Family Hospital from complications of advanced age.

She was born Nov. 6, 1883, at Fort Wayne, Ind., to Charles and Elizabeth Miller. When a young girl, she moved with her parents to Trinidad, Colo., and was educated there.

On May 2, 1899, she was married to George W. Heyman at Raton, N.M. Heyman worked for the CR & I & P Railroad for many years. They moved to Estherville in 1920. Heyman died June 18, 1966.

She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, Beauceant and Episcopal Church.

Survivors include one son, George E. Heyman, Dunnell; one daughter, Mrs. M. O. (Gertrude) Monroe, Estherville; one granddaughter, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Cory of Rochester, Minn.; one step daughter, Mrs. A. L. (Betty) Robertson of Ridgecrest, Calif.; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl E. Miller, Long Beach, Calif.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one grandson, Robert Heyman.

The Rev. Bryce Hunt will officiate with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call anytime on Sunday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home until time of services on Monday.

Pallbearers will be Robert Griffith, John Rugtiv, C. W. Robinson, Lester Sidles, Clyde Sanborn and Arnold Mouritsen.

Honorary pallbearers will be C. E. Miller, R. S. Knight, Harold Sorensen, Ole Sidles, Harry Simpson and Owen Morton. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 14, 1970)
