Father Dies
at Estherville

Jacob F Hepp of Estherville passed away Sunday afternoon, Dec. 9 at the age of 79 years. He had been in ill health for several years. He is the father of Mrs. Byron Blair of Lake Park.

Mr. Hepp was born Feb. 8, 1872 in White county, Indiana. He was a longtime resident of Estherville, and was formerly a locomotive engineer on the Long Island railway.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, Dec. 12 at his home in Estherville and interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, five daughters and one son; Mrs. Leonard Hackett of Arnolds Park; Mrs. John Graff of Estherville; Mrs. Flave Logue of California; Mrs. Byron Blair of Lake Park, and John Hepp of Clear Lake. Two brothers, Tom of Jackson, Minn., and Fred of Emmetsburg, and two sisters also survive, besides several grandchildren and great grandchildren. (Lake Park News, Lake Park, IA, Decemeber 13, 1951)
