Well Known Man Lived Here Many Years as Boy and While in Garage Business
Russell Heneman, 44, formerly of Estherville, died last night at his cottage home at Orleans. Mr. Heneman had been ill for several years with tuberculosis but the turn for the worse came very suddenly yesterday.

Russell was born at Schaler on Nov. 4, 1893. He came to Estherville with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Heneman when a lad of high school age and attended school here for several years.

He was married at Huntington, June 19, 1913, to Miss Ruby Weir. They have one daughter, Lenore. Later he was married to Mrs. Fern Evans who was with him at the time of his death.

Also surviving are two brothers Walter of Los Angeles, Porter of Estherville, and a sister Mrs. Wm. Conklin of this city.

Although plans are not definitely known here, funeral services will probably be held Sunday afternoon from the Presbyterian church in Estherville. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 23, 1937)
