C. E. Corbin, Estherville, Dies at 58
Charles Edward Corbin, 58, of Estherville, died at 1:15 p.m. yesterday at Emmetsburg. Death was the result of a heart attack.

He was born Dec. 21, 1909, at Storm Lake, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Corbin. He moved with his family to the Dunnell area as a child and attended rural Dunnell schools.

He came to Estherville in 1934, and on Dec. 2 of that year was married to Beulah Thietje at Estherville.

Corbin was self-employed as a trucker.

He attended the United Methodist church in Estherville.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Joanne) Bienenfeld of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Mrs. C. J. (Phyllis) Dugan of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; a brother, Landen Corbin of Chester; a sister, Mrs. John Blume of Bellflower, Calif., and his mother, Mrs. Lewis Sellman of Sibley.

He was preceded in death by his father, one brother and a grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Reese-Henry Funeral Chapel in Estherville, the Rev. Richard Pearson officiating.

Burial will be in East Side cemetery with a military graveside service.

Friends may be call after 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of the service on Thursday at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 3, 1968)
