Former Resident Dies
Word was received here Monday from Largo, Fla., of the death that morning of Mrs. Alvina Hanson, sister of Ed Sillge and Mrs. George Rogers of Estherville. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Largo. Two sons, Irving of Largo and Merril of Huntington Park, Calif., survive. The Hanson’s lived in Estherville until approximately 30 years ago and Mrs. Hanson had been making her home with her son in Florida. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, March 8, 1945)
