Mrs. Harry Hansen Dies of Influenza
Mrs. Harry Hansen of east of Huntington, died Monday of the Spanish influenza. She leaves a husband and two small children.

Deceased was formerly Miss Florence Olson of this city, and resided here since childhood. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 25, 1918)

Mrs. H. F. Hansen
Mrs. Harry Hansen died at her home north of Estherville, December 23rd after a very brief illness. The circumstances are especially sad. Just two months ago the sister of Mrs. Hansen was laid to rest in our cemetery.

Mrs. Hansen leaves a husband and two little children, a mother, two sisters, and a brother and a host of friends to mourn their loss.

The sympathy of the community with the husband and the two little motherless children, and in a very special way the aged mother who is so sorely bereaved.

Mrs. Hansen was a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church and she was not afraid to die. To her death was gain. The loss is ours. Brief services were held in the home Thursday at 1:30 p.m. by her pastor and she was tenderly laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.” (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, December 25, 1918)
