Mrs. H. H. Doolittle
May W. Doolittle, widow of H. H. Doolitle, 1925 B ave. NE, and a resident of Cedar Rapids for 53 years, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 6:15 p.m. Saturday. She was born May 18, 1886 in Vermont.Surviving are 2 daughters; Mary Doolittle of Cedar Rapids and Grace Hartwell of New Wilmington, Pa.; a son, Carroll Doolittle of Downers Grove, Ill., and 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Doolittle was a member of Central Park Presbyterian church, chapter H.J. of P.E.O. and the D.A.R.
Services: Turner chapel at 9 Tuesday by the Rev. Reuben Tjaden. Friends may call at the chapel after 6 p.m. Sunday and until 9 p.m. Monday. The casket will not be opened after the service.
