Girl Age 23 Dies Tuesday
Evelyn Danielson Dies From Heart Ailment at Iowa City Hospital
The death of Miss Evelyn Danielson, 23 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Danielson of Estherville, was a shock not only to the family but to a large circle of friends. She died Tuesday [February 17, 1942] morning at the University Hospital in Iowa City. She had been suffering from heart ailment for several weeks and was taken to Iowa City two weeks ago.

Her mother had been with her all the time she was there and her brother and father were there when she died. Miss Danielson was graduated from the Estherville school with the class of ’38 and had worked at the Dutch Maid Bakery over two years.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. King Gould of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Morton Evans of Estherville, Miss Arvella Danielson, one brother Harold and her parents all of Estherville.

Funeral services for Miss Evelyn Danielson will be held at Sternborg Funeral Home at 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Baptist Church on Friday afternoon. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 19, 1942)
