Final Rites on Monday at Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah Danielsen who died shortly after noon yesterday at Holy Family Hospital will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Christian Church, Rev. Howard Wakelin presiding.Mrs. Danielsen had been in the hospital for three weeks, and her death was attributed to advanced age.
Mrs. Danielsen was born Nov. 1, 1874, at Fountain, Minn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wolden. The family moved to Emmet county in 1879.
She was married to Christen Danielsen March 10, 1894, at Alexander, Franklin county where they lived until 1906 when they came to Emmet County. They moved to Estherville in 1911 and Mr. Danielsen was chief of police for 20 years. He died in 1951.
Mrs. Danielsen was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Chester (Frances) Moore of Irving, Texas, and Mrs. Hazel Harridge of Estherville; four brothers, Magnus Wolden of St. James, Minn.; Olaf Wolden, Estherville; Fred and Albert Wolden, Wallingford; and a sister, Mrs. Edward (Ella) Storvick, Albert Lea, Minn.
Preceding her in death were her husband, three sons, Helmer, Albert and Samuel; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Johnson; Mrs. Arthur (Pearl) Chard, Mrs. Eugene (Rose) Rost and two grandchildren, Herbert Challberg and Shirley McPerson.
A family service will be held at Fuhrman Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Monday and the body will be taken to the church at noon.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday until noon Monday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 7, 1965)
