Albert Danielson [Per cemetery records: Danielsen] Died Suddenly in Silvis, Illinois
Albert Danielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Danielson, died suddenly in Silvis, Ill., on last Saturday morning at the age of 35 years.

Mr. Danielson has been in the employ of the Rock Island Railway for many years. He was formerly in the shops here and was transferred to Silvis several years ago.

The remains were brought to this city for burial. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the home and form the Christian church at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. Fred Sawyer officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mr. Danielson is survived by his parents, a brother and five sisters. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, September 16, 1937)

A.Danielson Dies Suddenly
Albert Danielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Danielson of this city, died suddenly while at work Saturday [September 11, 1937] at Silvis, Ill., of what was thought to be a blood clod on the heart. Albert was an employee of the Rock Island at that place having been transferred from Estherville in July 1935.

He was born April 19, 1902 at Coller and came with his parents to Emmet county in 1905, first living at Wallingford and in 1911 to Estherville. He finished his schooling in 1918 and took up employment at once with the C.R.I. in their shops here.

Surviving are his parents, five sisters, Miss Frances Danielson, and Mrs. Rose Rost of Estherville; Mrs. Louis Shallberg, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Hazel Estes, Des Moines; Mrs. Pearl Chord, St. Louis and one brother Sam Danielson, Estherville.

Funeral services are being held at two o’clock this afternoon at the Chris Danielson home and at two-thirty from the Church of Christ. The pastor, Rev. Fred Sawyer will be in charge. Interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery. (Vindicator & Republican, Estherville, IA, September 14, 1937)
