Services Monday for Noel Daniels
Funeral services were held Monday at First Methodist church in Estherville for Noel Daniels, 60, of Estherville, formerly of the Terril area, who died Friday. Death was attributed to a heart attack.Survivors include his wife, Rose, of Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. David (Marlene) Clemenson of Cylinder; one son, Weldon D. Daniels of Des Moines; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Herbert Blum of Montrose, Colo.; and one brother, Warren Daniels of Estherville. (Graettinger Times, Graettinger, IA, May 20, 1965)
Noel Daniels Dies Friday at Estherville
Terril – Noel (Dan) D. Daniels, 60, of Estherville and former Terril resident died Friday at the Holy Family Hospital. He had been in failing health for a number of years and death was attributed to a heart attack.Funeral services were held Monday at the First Methodist Church at Estherville with the Rev. Lester Auman officiating and burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Reese Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Noel Delbert Daniels was born July 27, 1904 at Terril, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Daniels. He received his education in Terril schools and was married May 18, 1927 to Rose W. Nauss at Terril.
They farmed in the Terril area until moving to Estherville in 1937. Mr. Daniels was employed by Montgomery Ward until his retirement due to ill health. He was a member of First Methodist Church and Knights of Pythias.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. David (Marlene) Clemenson of Cylinder; one son, Weldon D. Daniels of Des Moines; six grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Herbert Blum of Montrose, Colo., and one brother, Warren of Estherville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. (Milford Mail and Terril Record, Milford, IA, May 20, 1965)
