Robert Crim Dies at 43
Robert L. Crim, 43, of California, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Loyd [Lloyd] Crim of Estherville, died Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Veterans Hospital in Fresno, Calif. He had been a patient at the hospital for the past several months.Robert L. Crim was born May 23, 1921, in Estherville. He grew up in Estherville and attended school here. He was married in 1942 to Dorothy Lighter of Spirit Lake.
For several years he owned and operated the Dumont Pharmaceutical Corporation of Mason City. They later moved to California where he continued to work as a salesman for a pharmaceutical company.
He is survived by his widow; two children, Debby, 13, and John, 10; one brother, James of Sioux City; one sister, Mrs. Carol Agadjanian of Princeton, N.J.; two aunts, Mrs. Clem Luikart of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Mrs. George Robb of Estherville; and three cousins, Wayne and Vance Crim and Mrs. Ruby Hoganson, all of Estherville.
Funeral services are pending at Fuhrman Funeral Home. Services are tentatively set for Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 5, 1965)
