Mrs. Louise Boyle, 89, Estherville, died at 5:10 a.m. Sunday, March 21, at Holy Family Hospital from complications of advanced age.

She was born March 19, 1882, at Illyria, to Mr. and Mrs. John Kohler. She received her education in rural Illyria schools.

She was married Aug. 25, 1900, to James Boyle at West Union. They lived in Elgin until 1917, and then moved to West Bend and lived there until 1922 befo9re moving to Estherville. Mr. Boyle worked for the Rock Island Railroad. He died in 1945. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge since 1920, and a member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Loveland, Estherville; Mrs. Julia Schurg, West Bend; Mrs. Archie (Hilda) Morton, Fairmont; one son, John, Williamsport; 13 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Anna DeSart, Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Reese-Henry Funeral Chapel at Estherville, with the Rev. Richard Pearson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandsons Gary Morton, Gail Morton, Jerry Morton, Harold Schurg, James Schurg, and Bill Holsclaw.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home at any time until time of the services on Tuesday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 22, 1971)
