Mrs. Woodward [Woodyard] Dies Following Long Illness
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from the Sternborg funeral home at 2 and from the Baptist church at 2:30 for Mrs. W. M. Woodyard of this city, the Rev. G. E. Forssell officiating.

Mrs. Woodyard has been in poor health for many years and has of late been a patient at the Holy Family Hospital. She has been a resident of this city and this community for the past 37 years. The Woodyard family has resided here and in Spirit Lake in recent years, here in the winter and operating a boat livery and resort on East Okoboji and at Anglers Bay the past three years.

She is survived by her husband, a son and daughter by a former marriage, and two sons, Lawrence and Floyd, both of Estherville.

Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 13, 1947)
