Mrs. Harry Weber Dies
Mrs. Harry Weber, 40, died Saturday, Nov. 5 in the Coleman hospital after an illness of one week of pneumonia.She was not taken to the hospital until Saturday afternoon, as her condition was not considered serious and she had been about home and into town as usual.
Mrs. Weber has live on a farm five miles east of Estherville on highway No. 9 for 17 years. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Charles Christian from southeast of Gruver; son and daughter, Wayne 11, and Darlene 7, three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Bringle, Superior; Mrs. Roy Weddo, Fairmont and Mrs. Wilbur Engholm, Ringsted; four brothers, Gilbert Christian, Mason City; Carl Christian, Fairmont, Minn.; Melvin Christian, Milford; and Edward Christian, Ringsted.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home and at 2 p.m. at the Gruver Presbyterian church, with the Rev. T. Chandler Burton officiating and the Rev. Peder Nordsletten of Wallingford assisting. Burial was made in the Oak Hill cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, November 8, 1938)
