Mrs. Grace Tuttle Succumbs Monday
Mrs. Grace Tuttle, 85, a former Estherville resident, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 1971, at St. Angelus Nursing Home in Minneapolis.

She was born June 30, 1886, in Fairmont, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. Bert McIalwaine. She received her education in the Fairmont schools.

In 1903 she was married to Dan Tuttle in Fairmont. They lived in Fairmont, Estherville and Hinkle, Minn.

Her husband died in 1936 [1937].

She is survived by two sons, Bert O. Tuttle, Brook Park, Minn., and Earl L. Tuttle, Estherville; and one daughter, Mrs. Grace Norrell, Minneapolis; five grandsons, one granddaughter and several great-grandchildren, three brothers, Vern McIalwaine, Burtrum, Minn.; Ray McIalwaine, Jackson; Voil McIalwaine, Seattle, Wash., two sisters, Mrs. Fay Brashears, Puryear, Tenn.; Eva Brashears, Lucas, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Fay, her parents and two brothers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home. The Rev. Val Hauck of Union Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are George Brunskill, Joe Sifrit, Francis Dahna, Gerald Hoffmeyer, Harold Fisher and Glen Fisher. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 7, 1971)
