Ray Lester Tuttle, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Tuttle died last Friday at the age of eighteen months. The funeral services were held on Sunday, the Rev. Whitfield officiating and interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, September 2, 1914)

The angel of death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. T. Tuttle on last Friday, Aug. 28th, and in obedience to the workings of the Divine Plan took Ray, the beloved 18-months-old son, back to the Father who gave him.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tuttle by Rev. G. F. Whitfeld, Sunday, Aug. 27th, [30] and burial was made in the Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, September 2, 1914)
