Mrs. Jesse Tone died Monday Morning
The many friends of Mrs. Jesse Tone were grieved to learn of her death early last Monday morning. For some time past she had been in poor health. Her husband is a fire man on the Rock Island railroad, and was out on his run at the time of her death. She was found by a neighbor who ran in to see her. When found she was apparently nearly smothered, and died afterward. Short funeral services were held today by Rev. Dungan of the Christian church. Mrs. Tone was a lady fifty-seven years old, well liked and esteemed by her neighbors. The husband has the sympathy of the entire community.
