Estherville – Neal Joseph Timmons, 65, Estherville, died Sept. 19 at the Veterans Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Max Goldman of the United Methodist Church officiating and burial at the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Henry Funeral Home, Estherville.

Mr. Timmons was born Aug. 6, 1911 at Churdan to Joseph and Elfa Stotts Timmons and was educated in rural Emmet County schools. He was married to Elvera Howard Dec. 23, 1931 at Estherville and farmed in the Estherville area until 1960 when he retired and moved into Estherville. He has lived in Sioux Falls the past two years and is a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Carmen) Smook, Sioux Falls; and Mrs. Keith (Darlene) Hodge, Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Ivan and Edward, both of Estherville; and two sisters, Mrs. Irene Iseminger, Estherville; and Mrs. Dorothy Klingbeil, Baudette, Minn.
