Last Thursday [May 10, 1923], relatives of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Shriner received word of the death of their infant son at Long Prairie, Minnesota. Mr. Shriner passed through Lake Park last Friday with the remains and was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Shriner, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shriner, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Stockfleth and Mrs. L. W. Woodruff, to Estherville where burial was made in the family lot in Oak Hill cemetery at that place. The little child only lived a short time after birth and the many friends here of Mr. and Mrs. Shriner extend them their sincere sympathy. (Lake Park News, Lake Park, IA, May 17, 1923)
