Services for Mrs. Hilda Shriner who died yesterday morning at the Balmer Rest Home will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Sternborg Funeral home chapel, the Rev. Warren Steward officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Sternborg Funeral home, where the body will lie in state after 3 p.m. Friday until time of service. Mrs. Hilda Shriner Dies at Estherville
Mrs. Hilda Shriner passed away at the Balmer Rest Home at Estherville last week, and funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 31, at Estherville with burial there. She was seventy years old.She was a former resident here, and is a sister of Mrs. John Stockfleth of Walnut Grove, Minn. She also leaves three other sisters, Mrs. Rose Bolty and Vivian Vestrem of Estherville and Mrs. Cora Bonstead of Graettinger. She was the wife of Roy Shriner.
She had four children, all of whom preceded her in death. (Lake Park News, Lake Park, IA, January 5, 1956)
