James Shuttleworth Dies; Funeral Monday
James Shuttleworth, 71, died Saturday. Funeral services were held here Monday and burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery.

James Shuttleworth was born 1857 in England and was married in early life to Sarah Winters. He has resided in this community fifteen years.

He is survived by his wife and five children and seven grandchildren. The children living are Arthur Shuttleworth, Harry Shuttleworth, Mrs. Emma Longman and Charles Shuttleworth, all of Estherville, James Shuttleworth of Los Angeles, Cal., Sam Shuttleworth of Moneta, Cal., and Charles Shuttleworth of Thompson. Obituary of James Shuttleworth
James Shuttleworth was born in England in 1857 and died at Estherville, Iowa, March 17, 1928, aged 71 years. He was married in early life to Sarah Winters. Seven children were born to them, one of whom died in infancy. Those living are Harry Shuttleworth; Mrs. Emma Longman, and Arthur, all of Estherville, Iowa; James Shuttleworth of Los Angeles, California; and Sam Shuttleworth of Moneta, California; Charles Shuttleworth of Thompson, Iowa. In addition to these he is survived by his wife and seven grandchildren. He has resided in this vicinity about 15 years. At the time of his death he was at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Longman, in Estherville. The funeral services were at the Undertaking parlors on Monday at 2 o’clock.
