Mary Sewell Dies From Pneumonia
Mary Sewell, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Sewell, died at 6:30 o’clock this morning with pneumonia following a flu attack. She was taken sick last evening and her lung was found to be in a congested condition by the physician who was called. She was about eight years of age and attended school at the Washington building. Besides her parents she is survived by one brother, Robert, and one sister, Bonnie. Funeral arrangements have not been announced. (Estherville News, Estherville, IA, December 27, 1928)

The little seven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Sewell, passed away at their home on Third street this morning. The little lady had been ill about two weeks with the flu. No arrangements have been made as yet for the services. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, December 26, 1928)

Little Mary Sewell, seven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sewell died this Thursday morning of pneumonia. The little one had been ailing with the flu for about three weeks but was not considered seriously ill until the past few days.

Mary is the only daughter in the family, a young brother being the only other child. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 26, 1928)
