Rosander Rites Here on Monday
George Rosander, 77, an Emmet county resident for the past 20 years, died yesterday afternoon following a heart attack.

He was stricken on North Fifth Street north of Central Avenue and rushed to Holy Family Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Fuhrman Funeral Home, Rev. Howard Wakelin officiating. Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home anytime Sunday until the time of service Monday.

George Rosander was born Jan. 23, 1888, in Des Moines to Mr. and Mrs. John Rosander. He received his education in Des Moines and Norwalk.

He was married to Nora Krieger of Perry, Feb. 28, 1912. They made their home in Perry until 1944 when they moved to Welcome, Minn. They lived in Welcome for two years and then moved to a farm in Emmet county nine miles east of Estherville in 1946.

In 1957 he retired and he and his wife moved into Estherville.

Mr. Rosander is survived by his widow; one son, Loyd of Mission, Kan.; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Simmer of Clear Lake; 15 grandchildren; one brother, Albert of Winterset; and two sisters, Mrs. Shelby Moore, Walker, Minn., and Mrs. Minnie Rhodes of Des Moines.
