5-year-old Estherville Girl Dies

Kay Ludwig, 5, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ludwig of Estherville, died Sunday at 10:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church in Rochester, Minn.

Kay became ill last week while she and her parents and sister were vacationing in Minnesota. A physician advised Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig to take Kay to Rochester for treatment. Her death was attributed to a kidney ailment aggravated by a heart condition.

She was born Sept. 13, 1962 at Carroll.

The little girl is survived by her parents; a sister, Karen; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Evans of Milwaukee, Wis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, a Mass of the Angels at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. James H. Duhigg officiating.

A rosary will be said Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Fuhrman Funeral Home. Friends may call there after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
