Floyd, the little ten months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Brood passed away at his home Thursday evening after a week's illness of the flu. While the little one had not been well from birth he was gaining nicely until the fatal illness. Mr. and Mrs. Brood have the sympathy of their many friends in their sorrow. Rev. Loew preached the funeral sermon at the house Saturday afternoon and the little one was laid to rest in the East Side cemetery beside his two brothers who had preceded him in death. Jesus said, "Suffer the little ones to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
