Mrs. Charles Logue Died This Morning at Local Hospital
Mrs. Charles Logue, 63, died at 3 o’clock this morning in the Coleman hospital where she was taken Monday in a serious condition. Mrs. Logue has been ill with diabetes for years and this and other complications caused her death.
Emma L. Crumb was born Sept. 14, 1873 in a log house on the Crumb farm in Emmet County. On Sept. 3, 1896 she was married to Charles A. Logue.
She is survive by her husband, 5 children, Everett of Estherville, Flave of Alhambra, Calif.; Wayne of Pasadena, Calif.; and Zelda and Doris of Estherville; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Myra Westcott of Arlington, Nebr., and two brothers, William Crumb of Canby, Wash., and Elmer Crumb of this city.
Mrs. Logue was a member of the Methodist Church in Huntington and the Royal Neighbors and Pythian Sister Lodges.
Funeral services have not been arranged as yet, waiting word from relatives in California. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, April 15, 1936)
