Mr. Albert Lippert died very suddenly at the home of his parents near Wallingford on February 22nd after a short illness of only three weeks. The funeral services were held from his home on Saturday and interment made in Oak Hill cemetery in Estherville.
Mr. Lippert was a young man only twenty-five years of age. He had just reached manhoods estate and had before him a very bright future. His untimely death will be mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends.
Albert Conrad Lippert was born November 25th, 1897 on a farm near Wallingford in Emmet County, and passed away at the home of his parents, Wednesday evening, February 22nd, 1922, at the age of 24 years, 2 months and 27 days. He was born and raised on his father’s farm and was engaged in farming with the exception of two winters spent at Ames where he attended agricultural college.
The deceased possessed many good traits of character and was well liked by his many friends, who will regret to learn of his early departure.
He leaves to mourn his death, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Lippert and four sisters, Amelia and Augusta of Sioux City, Iowa; Pauline of Gilmore City, Iowa and Kathryn at home. All of whom were at his bed side when he passed away. He has numerous other relatives in Europe.
The funeral was held Saturday, February 25, at his home at 12:30 and at the Lutheran church in Estherville of which he was a member.
The pall bearers were Thomas Thompson, William Nelson, Charles Burg, Eggart Christensen, Adolph Spies and Gilbert Amdahl.
The body was laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery at Estherville. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, March 1, 1922)
Albert Lippert passed away Thursday at the home of his parents five miles west of Wallingford after an illness of three weeks. He was in considerable pain during the time he was ill. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the home at 1:30 and at the German Lutheran church at Estherville at 2:30. He leaves to mourn huis passing, his father, mother and four sisters.
