Mrs. L.H. Lauritsen, 70, is Dead

Mrs. L.H. Lauritsen, 70, of 213 Central avenue, died of a heart attack in her home at 11 o’clock this morning.

Mrs. Lauritsen has been a resident of Estherville for the past eight years, she and her husband having moved here from Sioux Rapids in 1943.

Mrs. Lauritsen was born Feb. 10, 1881 in Denmark. She received her education in Denmark, coming to the United States in 1901. She was married to Lars H. Lauritsen in 1905 at Audubon.

She is survived by her husband and six children. They are four sons, Glen, Alfred and George of Estherville, and Arthur of Spirit Lake and two daughters, Mrs. D. W. (Lenora) Corwin of Estherville and Mrs. Carl (Lila) Beck of Granada, Minn.

She is also survived by several brothers and sisters, Mrs. Lauritsen was a member of the Lutheran church.

Services for Mrs. L.H. Laurtisen of Estherville will be Monday 1:30 p.m. at the Laurtisen home and at 2 p.m. at Estherville Lutheran church with the Rev. L. G. Hindernaker officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill cemetery. Through an error, the day of service was listed as Sunday in a story yesterday.
