Mrs. Estabrook is Dead
Funeral Held Tuesday Afternoon
At the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Ladd, occurred on Monday morning, December 11th, the death of Mrs. Augusta E. Estabrook, aged 78 years, after a lingering illness from old age and the infirmities peculiar thereto. The funeral was held from the residence Tuesday afternoon, Rev. R. D. Ellerby, of the Episcopal church officiating. The burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery.

Augusta E. Franklin was born in Colerain, Mass., in 1827. At Brattleboro, Vt., she was united in marriage with Royal Gladden Estabrook. At an early date they came to Marshalltown where, until the death of Mr. Estabrook in 1889, she made her home. Since then she resided with her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Ladd in this city.
