Mrs. Lamb Rites Monday
Mrs. Lois Katherine Lamb, 78, of Estherville died Nov. 23, 1972, at Holy Family Hospital after being ill since March.

Mrs. Lamb was born Oct. 14, 1894, in Ocheyedan to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lindsey. She was educated in the Ocheyeden schools and married Charles Lamb on June 10, 1914, at Buffalo Center. They lived in Lakota until 1920 when they moved to Iowa Falls, and then moved to Estherville in 1924.

Mrs. Lamb was a member of the United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors Lodge, Gold Star Mothers, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Service Star Legion and the Rock Island Club.

Survivors include one son, Daryl, of Spotswood, N.J.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Bonna) Cash, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Lloyd (Evelyn) Lidke, Havre de Grace, Md.; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one brother, Clarence Lindsey, Rowan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons and two brothers.

Services will be held Monday morning, Nov. 27, 10:30 a.m. at the Reese-Henry Chapel in Estherville and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. H. Alan Wirtz officiating.

Friends may call at Reese-Henry at 7 p.m. Saturday until time of services Monday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 24, 1972)
