Dominic (Mickey) Novak Services Set Tuesday

Dominic (Mickey) James Novak, 57, Estherville, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 1972, while en route to Holy Family Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Church with Msgr. James Duhigg officiating. Interment will be made in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Mr. Novak was born July 26, 1915, in Gelman, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Novak and was educated in Gelman schools. He was married Nov. 12, 1939, to Geneva K. Sather in Estherville.

He worked in the past for Rose and Co., Arlington, S.D., Armours Poultry House, Fairmont, and came to Estherville in 1937 to work for P.G. Gray Co. for 14 years. He was then employed by Hills Packing Co. and has been working for John Morrell and Co. since 1956.

He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva of Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. Byron Sweely, Tracy, Minn., Mrs. John Roda, St. Cloud, Minn.; two brothers, Casper Novak, Arlington, S.D., David Novak, West, Texas; one half-brother, Tim Tadych, Foley, Minn.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. this evening at Reese-Henry Chapel. Pallbearers at the services Tuesday will be John Fisher, Orville Kollasch, Harold Brazee, Edward Morris, Charles Uhlir and Marvin Boever.

Friends may call at Reese-Henry in Estherville at any time today until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
