DOLLIVER –Services for Marietta C. Weber, 76, of Dolliver will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Lincoln township Cemetery.

Mrs. Weber died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1993, at her home in Dolliver. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born Feb. 22, 1917, in Grand Junction, daughter of Raymond and Mary (Gonder) Clause. She graduated from high school in Grand Junction. She then attended Iowa State Teacher’s college in cedar Falls where she received her teacher’s certificate. She married Galen Weber on July 5, 1939, in South Sioux City, Neb. After college she taught school in Dolliver for a number of years. She also worked with her husband at Weber hardware Store in Dolliver until they sold it in 1975.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Redeemer Lutheran Church Women, was church organist at Dolliver Lutheran Church and was a 4-H leader.

Survivors include: her husband, Galen Weber of Dolliver; two daughters, Marjorie Jones and husband, Jim, of Mora, Minn., Rosemary Oswalt and husband, Wells, of Stevens Point, Wis.; two sons, Jim and wife, Audrey, of Beaverton, Ore., Bob and wife Connie, of Hutchinson, Minn.; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Margene Miller and husband, Armen, of Jefferson, Elizabeth Schroeder and husband, Eldon, of Sioux City; three brothers, Gerald Clause and wife, Jean, of Lago Vista, Texas, Bob Clause and wife, Dena, Roger Clause and wife, Dorothy, all of Grand Junction.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.
