ESTHERVILLE –Services for Dr. Paul G. Larsen, 55, of Estherville will e at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Wallingford Lutheran Church, with burial in Wallingford Lutheran Cemetery.

Dr. Larsen died July 31 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Spirit Lake, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

Paul G. Larsen was born Aug. 29, 1936, in Wallingford, the son of Hilmer and Gladys (Paulson) Larsen. He received his education in Wallingford, graduating from Estherville High School in 1954. He attended the University of South Dakota and graduated from the University of Iowa in 1965 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He practiced dentistry in Estherville for the past 27 years. He was united in marriage to Susan Shiley on Feb. 16, 1958 in New Ulm, Minn.

He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Estherville and the Wallingford Lutheran Church, church council, Luther League sponsor, Cub Scout Troop #21 leader, Elks Lodge, American Angus Association, American Quarter Horse Association, American and Iowa Dental Association, Estherville Rotary Club.

Survivors include: his wife, Susan of Estherville; son, Michael Larsen and wife, Amy of Wallingford; daughters Cynthia Larsen and Jone Larsen both of Estherville; grandsons, Seth, Nathan and Ben; mother Gladys Larson of Willard, Mo.; brothers, Francis Larsen and wife, Joy, Robert Larsen and wife, Sharon both of Springfield, Mo.; sisters, Ruth Hunt and Edna Larsen of Sacramento, Calif., Esther Frederick and husband Daryld of Superior, Iowa; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hilmer, and grandparents.
