ESTHERVILLE—Services for Mrs. George Vandenburgh, 94, formerly of Armstrong, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Presbyterian Church of Armstrong, with burial in Armstrong Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Vandenburgh died Dec. 30, 1974, in a hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. Friends may call at Henry Funeral Home of Armstrong today until time of services.
Anna C. Stoakes was born April 5, 1880 in Tama County, Iowa. She was married to Goerge Vandenburgh on May 28, 1906 at Traer. They came to Armstrong after their marriage, where they lived until 1964, when her husband died. She then moved to Oklahoma City to her son’s home.
Survivors include one son, Edward of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Mrs. Donald Ogren of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
