ESTHERVILLE—Service for Roy Wayne Nelson, 60, of Estherville will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville followed by a service at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Primghar with burial in Waterman Cemetery in Sutherland.

Mr. Nelson died Sunday in St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Friends may call at the Funeral home until time of service Wednesday.

Mr. Nelson was born Sept. 19, 1914 in Sioux City. He was educated in Archer and was married Dec. 23, 1936 to Iva Horstman at Lake View. He worked at an elevator in Primghar for 27 years and came to Estherville in 1939 where he ws employed by John Grieg elevator until 1947. He was employed by Golden Sun Feeds for the past six years.

Survivors include his wife, Iva; two daughters, Mrs. Karey Dolphin and Mrs. Sandra Gibbs, both of Estherville, six grandchildren, three brothers, Orville, Dale, both of Primghar, Delbert of Dubuque; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Allen, of Primghar.
