On the afternoon of October 1st Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Fuller were called upon to part with their infant son, whose life was scarcely given ere it took its flight. This is indeed a sad blow to the bereaved parents whose hearts were so recently filled with joy, but the Lord’s will be done. On Sunday [October 2 ,1892] afternoon, after services conducted by Rev. Steele, this little one was laid to rest by loving hands. It was indeed a beautiful bud, and failed amid the splendor of earth, yet chilled by this world of ours, and too frail to open here, it will unfold and radiate in another kingdom. The parents have the sincere sympathy of all in this affliction. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, October 6, 1892)
