RITES HELD FOR MRS. JOHN VIGDAL

Funeral services were held last Friday at the Nazareth Lutheran church at 2 p.m., for Mrs. John Vigdal who passed away Nov. 15 at Holy Family hospital in Estherville, of a heart ailment. The Rev. Harry C. Molstre was in charge of the services. Burial was in Armstrong Grove cemetery.

Ida Lubke Vigdal was born near Whittemore, Ia., on Feb. 24, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lubke. She spent the first years of her girlhood around Whittemore where she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Later she moved with her parents to Pritty, Tex., and lived there until 1907, when she came to Armstrong.

In 1908 she became the wife of John Vigdal. He passed away Feb. 17, 1947.

She leaves to mourn her death four children, Mrs. Ida Hoppus, Harold, Theodore and William Vigdal; four grandchildren, Lee and Judy Hoppus, David Vigdal and Mrs. Mervan Rasmussen of Dolliver; two great-granddaughters; one brother, Willie Lubke of Pritty, Tex., besides other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband and parents, one sister, Martha, four brothers, Albert, Frank, Otto and George Lubke. Mrs. Vigdal was a member of Nazareth Lutheran church.
