Armstrong Man Dies Following Long Illness
Chauncey Redhead, 71, retired farmer living in Armstrong, died 5 p.m. at Holy Family hospital. Death was caused by cancer from which he had been hospitalized about two weeks. He had been suffering from the disease for quite some time.
The deceased was born May 4, 1878 in Lake Belt township, in Martin county, Minn., and received his education in Emmet county. A bachelor, he was employed on farms near Armstrong and Dolliver most of his life until his retirement several years ago.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include a brother, Ben at Armstrong, and two sisters, Mrs. Martin Eckhart of Armstrong and Mrs. J.J. Walters of Dupree, S.D.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.
