Dies Only Five Days After Wife

ARMSTRONG—Benjamin H. Redhead, 80, died at 12:45 p.m. yesterday at his home in Armstrong, only five days after the death of his wife. Mr. Redhead took seriously ill on yesterday morning although he had been in poor health for the past two years. Death was attributed to a circulatory embolism.

Mrs. Redhead died last Saturday of a heart attack and last rites were held Tuesday at Armstrong.

Mr. Redhead was born Feb. 13, 1880 in Lake Belt Township, Martin County, Minn., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Redhead. He received his education in Estherville schools and was engaged in the construction and trucking at Dolliver until 1939 when he moved to Armstrong. He retired in 1955.

He was married Sept. 2, 1903 to Daisy F. Cable at Dolliver and then on Sept. 9, 1939 to Bernice Feddersen, who preceded him in death on Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dolliver Methodist Church, the Rev. Roger Tappmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Dolliver Cemetery. Friends may call at the Slaba Funeral Home, Armstrong, until Saturday morning.

Survivors include two daughter Mrs. Russell (Hazel) Mindock of Milan, Ill.; and Mrs. Ray (Lula) Nordstrom of Joliet, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Martine (Mabel) Eckhart, Austin, Minn.; and Mrs. Delia Wolters, Dupree, S.D. One son, Merlin, and a brother, Chauncey preceded him in death.
