Rites to Be Saturday for Mrs. Dunham
Mrs. Margaret Dunham, 84, formerly of Estherville, died Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. at a Glendora, Calif. hospital. Mrs. Dunham had been in ill health for the past three and one-half years.

Mrs. Dunham was born Oct. 30, 1876, at Huntsville, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Moore. She lived in that area for several years and received her high school education there. Mrs. Dunham also attended Quincy, Ill., Conservatory of Music.

She and Jay H. Dunham were married Sept. 27, 1897, and moved to Estherville in 1900. Mrs. Dunham lived in Estherville until her husband’s death in December of 1949, when she moved to Charles City, where she lived for three years, then moved to Glendora, where she had been living for the past five months.

Mrs. Dunham was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Forrest (Helen) Gibbons, of Charles City; one son, W. H. (Errat) Dunham of Glendora, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Sternborg-Reese Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Lyons officiating. Friends may call at Sternborg-Reese from Saturday morning until time of services. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 5, 1960)
