Jay H. Dunham Dies
Jay H. Dunham, 70, long time Estherville resident and retired Rock Island railroad engineer, died 2:20 p.m. today at Holy Family hospital. He had been ailing for some time. He is survived by his wife in Estherville, and by two children, Mrs. Forrest Givens of Charles City, and W. H. E. Dunham of Los Angeles. Funeral arrangements are pending. Dunham Rites Wednesday
Services for Jay Dunham will be held 2 p.m. Wedneday at Estherville Presbyterian church, Rev. Frielte Conaway officiating. Burial will be at Eastside cemetery. Friends who wish to pay their last respects may do so by calling from noon Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sternborn funeral chapel. Masons who are attending the services are requested to assemble at the church. There will be a Masonic graveside service. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 12, 1949)
