Edna Gazelle Anderson was born near Wallingford, Iowa, on February 26, 1908.

That community has always been her home—except for one year that she attended college in Forest City.

On January 13, 1925, she was married to Joseph Berven of Maple Hill, Iowa. To this union were born three children: Elmer Olen, age six years; Ramona Delores, age two year, five months; Julius John, age fifteen months.

The untimely death of Mrs. Berven and her three children occurred on March 16, 1933.

Mrs. Berven was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olen Anderson, of Wallingford, Iowa.
