Robert Zeimer [Ziemer], the ten-year-old boy of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Zeimer, was operated on for appendicitis at Anderson’s hospital Wednesday and passed away Thursday [October 3, 1907] evening. The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. Campbell and the remains laid to rest in the Oak Hill cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, October 9, 1907)
