Graettinger – Donald Elmer Zitterich, the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Zitterich, passed away at the Coleman hospital Friday [May 17, 1935].

He was born January 24, 1929. Thus he was six years of age.

Donald was taken ill Wednesday afternoon while attending school. He was taken to the hospital and it was thought he had spinal meningitis.

Burial was made from the Methodist church with the Rev. Arthur Bottom officiating.

Besides his parents he leaves a small sister, La Dawn Ann. (The Reporter, Emmetsburg, IA, May 23, 1935)
