William E. Deming of Estherville Died Feb. 10 in Des Moines

William E. Deming of Estherville passed away at the Veterans’ hospital in Des Moines last Wednesday. He had been in the hospital for several months.

Mr. Deming was one of the well known men of Emmet county. He was a veteran of the first World War. He was active in the American Legion. He was deputy sheriff at the time of his death. He is survived by one son, Lieut. William Nichols Deming of Santa Barbara, California, and two daughters, Mrs. Jas. Baldwin of Cedar Rapids and Georgia Deming of Estherville.

Funeral services were held Sunday and interment made in the family lot at Oak Hill cemetery. (Terril Record, Terril, IA, February 18, 1943)
