Mrs. R. E. Dickey Dies Suddenly of Flu Complications

Mrs. R. E. Dickey, the beloved wife of one of the proprietors of the Estherville Laundry suddenly passed away at her home on Main street on Tuesday [December 3, 1918] morning of Flu complications.

Wednesday morning prayer services were held at the home, after which the body was sent to Waterloo, her former home, for burial. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 4, 1918)
